Pen Again sent me a four pack of ergonomic pencils to try called Twist’n Write. They are number 2 pencils in fun glitter colors. The led comes out at the top by twisting the cap. Grandma opened these while I was away on one of my trips and was teaching my 2 year old how to use them. I was watching my daughter when I came back and she was trying to use them. She didn’t quite use them correctly but because they have such a wide handle they were very easy for her to hold and use.
I like them because I have quite a bit of arthritis in my right hand and using them correctly causes no pain. I just now noticed that the sides act as erasers. Wow, that’s pretty cool.

I saw these at the store and they piqued my interest. I’m glad to see your review, I may just have to go back an purchase these.
I bet my daughter would love these. Thanks for the review.
My daughter has been using the Twist n’write pencil over this summer to try to improve her writing. She has shown progress, the shape of the pencil definately corrects her grip. The only problem is with the lead which is too soft and quickly looses its point. I wish they would provide a harder lead.
