Momstart is a Pampers Baby Board Ambassador.
We’re currently working on a project to celebrate our local hospital and all they do for preemies. My cousin’s daughter was born early and in the hospital for six weeks before she was able to come home and it’s so hard for parents. The nurses are there to hold your hand and the hand of your baby. So we’re super excited to be part of this project…..
For Every share of a #TouchesofLove moment on Instagram, Facebook or twitter from Now until November 17th Pampers will make a donation to March of Dimes
Another reason we’re super excited to be partnering with Pampers on this fun project is to share with you Pampers’ new Preemie diaper size. Pampers introduced the Swaddlers Size P-3 Diaper. This new diaper was designed in partnership with Neonatal Intensive Care Unit nurses to offer a small touch of love to the most vulnerable babies…..
The survival rate of premature babies is increasing and in the U.S. in 2015 about 380,000 babies were born premature. It takes a team of at least 3 experts to care for a premature baby in the NICU everyday. Based on research it can take up to 2 nurses, 4 loving hands and 5 – 10 minutes to change a premature baby’s diaper and ensure the baby remains safe and comfortable. Positive touch is essential for all babies, but it’s especially important for the health and development of premature babies.
The P-3 diaper is Pampers smallest diaper with a 34% narrower contoured core to fit between legs and help support healthy development. It’s smaller than the size of newborn socks. The cuffs gently seal around the baby’s delicate legs, improving all around comfort. The P-3 has unique liner pulls wetness and mess away from baby’s skin to help baby stay dry and comfortable. It’s also very customizable. The P-3 has all-over fastening with tabs that allow for a customizable fit to minimize disruption and adapt fit around lines and leads.
