I am being compensated by Farm Fresh To You for your participation in this campaign as part of the Mom It Forward Blogger Network.
I love getting organic fruit and veggies but sometimes going to the local farm, farmer’s market or grocery store isn’t the best option. Getting it delivered right to your door is so convenient. When I was living in Washington we had a local farm delivering to us every week and we would rotate our order every other week. Well the exciting thing is that now that we are living in California we can still have that amazing convenience from Farm Fresh To You. Farm Fresh To You is a second-generation family farm that grows and partners with other organic farms to deliver fresh, seasonal produce directly to your door.
I live in an apartment that is gated so to get a delivery from Farm To Fresh they wanted me to send them a key to get in. Normally I would be fine with that be we are moving again really soon so I decided to gift my box. My friend took some really amazing photos of all the great fruits and veggies she received. She’s starting a juicing diet and I figured that sending her a box would be a great start to her new diet.
Farm Fresh to You has four different types of boxes you can choose from and then each box type has four different sizes you can order. Depending on the size of your family or how much they enjoy fruits and veggies you may want to get the biggest box once a week, or like I said we used to do is rotate your delivery. We would get fresh farm eggs added every other week and with Farm Fresh To You you can do that. The four different types of boxes are Mixed Fruit and Veggie, No Cooking, The Fruit Only and the Veggie Only.
I purchased the mixed fruit and veggie box because I liked the selection of different fruits and veggies. Zoe loves strawberries and Kiwi Berries. So we might crash my friend’s place and steal some of her goodies. YUM!!!
There is quite a bit of flexibility because you get to check out your order before it is delivered. If you choose to have an item swapped you can do so. You can also suspend your services if you go on vacation or find that you are getting too much at once. It does sometimes take a few weeks to figure out just how many fruits and veggies you need. My favorite thing to do is to find creative meals to make with the interesting items that come. Fall is coming and I know there will be some really great root plants in season. That will be a very fun box.
Please note, Farm Fresh To You is only available in select zip codes in California. Find out if they deliver to you at: http://www.farmfreshtoyou.com/check_our_delivery_area
