You might have missed that December was learn a foreign language month, I sure did. However, for the new year I really want to learn a new language with my children. So we’re checking out Early Lingo. The Early Lingo DVD series makes learning a foreign language fun and easy for toddlers and younger kids. Available in ESL French, Italian, Spanish, Chinese and German each language comes with six DVDs and offers animated and live-action videos to teach a child the basic foundation of a foreign language using the total immersion method. I wish I knew Spanish a lot better so that I could teach my kids Spanish in total immersion at the house.

I’m very excited to start learning some French, I have a friend, no I have a few friends that can speak French and it would be fun to converse in another language. I also promised myself I would never go back to France unless I could speak French because the French are so rude to Americans and I want to surprise them by understanding what they are saying to me. Plus I really want my kids to become linguists.
