We had a pizza party today with our friends at my house thanks to Freschetta. I purchased two boxes of the Freschetta FlatBread and baked them in my oven and found out that I needed more, because it was being gobbled up. I think that every mother and one dad all asked what the brand was and where to purchase it. I have to admit that I was surprised because I’m surrounded by a bunch of healthy eaters so I assumed that when I served pizza for our play date that I would get sidewise glances, but nope, everyone truly enjoyed it.
Since I’m such a carb lover I’m usually a thick crust kind of girl, however Freschetta did not disappoint. I found quite a bit of flavor and a nice crisp crunch in the second pizza I cooked. The first one didn’t cook long enough, I was impatient and didn’t wait until my baking stone heated up, after it was hot the second pizza cooked much better. If you don’t have a baking stone then just put your pizza directly on the rack for a crispy crust.
There was lots of conversation about Freshetta pizzas today. We realized that you can find them at Costco, Safeway, and I purchased mine at Albertsons. I’m going to have to go to Costco and stock up on Pizzas for the next party.
The new Freschetta FlatBread was inspired by legendary thin crust pizzas of Italy. They began with a light crust and added quite flavorful toppings. The kinds of toppings that even picky eaters loved. (moms will be buying it after today’s party I assure you) For more information on Freschetta, follow Freschetta on Facebook and become a fan on facebook.
I have two coupons to giveaway to one lucky reader, but the catch is they expire on May 31st so this has to be a very quickly wrapped up giveaway.
Giveaway ends May 5th.
