New Exercise DVDs Jillian Michaels Yoga Meltdown and Fame Dance Workout Giveaway

My new great idea was to put on exercise DVDs during rainy days. That way I could encourage myself to get off of the couch and get the kids dancing. We tried Fame first. Fame: Dance Workout (Amazon affiliate link). Three of the actors/dancers from the movie Fame are leading exercises. It made me realize just how uncoordinated I have become trying to do the dance moves was really hard. I used to be flexible and able to kick, shake and shimmy. Maybe with more practice I’ll be able to do that again. Biggest point is that the kids got moving and were quite cute, repeating words that the dancers were using. They were counting and happy. What more could a mom ask for. Fame: Dance Workout

I know, a great workout right? If the quick moving doesn’t work out for you then all you have to do is try the Jillian Michaels: Yoga Meltdown. Jillian Michaels: Yoga Meltdown. Jillian is an expert when it comes to getting men and women to exercise and lose weight. I’m going to see if the box art lives up to it’s promise and starting next week, do the Yoga Meltdown every day with the kids. I know it’s going to be great, except for the fact that every time I lay down they just dog pile me.

    I’ve never been good about being self-motivated in exercising. I really need to work on that. IN 2 1/2 weeks I’ll get the okay form my doctor to start exercising (I would think anyway) again and I really want to lose the rest of my baby weight, so I need to get self-motivated quickly!!

    I need to exercise more and ear better. I have a huge habit of only eating once a day ( which is usually dinner at 8 and 9 when my hubby gets home from work… and then i usually go to bed right afterwards) and it has caused me to gain about 40 pounds in the last year.

    I do watch what I eat, but could use a lot more help in that area. I need to get back on track with myfitnesspal.com … with my food journaling.
    Also, I work out, but need to do so more often. My new goal is to work out every single day, so that I can actually succeed to work out at least 3-4 times a week.
    I also need to make sure to not run out of my vitamins/supplements. That just costs money. 🙁

    I’ve been eating better and exercising (with other Jillian DVDs) for a few months. I need to do better on snacking. I tend to eat relatively healthy meals and still eat lower-calorie snacks, but they’re usually just empty calories (like a 100-calorie snack pack of cookies). I need to make sure I eat fruits and grains for snacks so that I get a nutritional benefit along with my calories!

    I need to work on adding more exercise to my day. Definitely need more flexibility and endurance. I’ve been getting neck/back pain lately, which is an indication of how unhealthy I’ve been living! These workout DVDs would go to great use!
