My new great idea was to put on exercise DVDs during rainy days. That way I could encourage myself to get off of the couch and get the kids dancing. We tried Fame first. Fame: Dance Workout (Amazon affiliate link). Three of the actors/dancers from the movie Fame are leading exercises. It made me realize just how uncoordinated I have become trying to do the dance moves was really hard. I used to be flexible and able to kick, shake and shimmy. Maybe with more practice I’ll be able to do that again. Biggest point is that the kids got moving and were quite cute, repeating words that the dancers were using. They were counting and happy. What more could a mom ask for.

I’ve never been good about being self-motivated in exercising. I really need to work on that. IN 2 1/2 weeks I’ll get the okay form my doctor to start exercising (I would think anyway) again and I really want to lose the rest of my baby weight, so I need to get self-motivated quickly!!

Also, I work out, but need to do so more often. My new goal is to work out every single day, so that I can actually succeed to work out at least 3-4 times a week.

I’ve been eating better and exercising (with other Jillian DVDs) for a few months. I need to do better on snacking. I tend to eat relatively healthy meals and still eat lower-calorie snacks, but they’re usually just empty calories (like a 100-calorie snack pack of cookies). I need to make sure I eat fruits and grains for snacks so that I get a nutritional benefit along with my calories!
I need to work on exercising more regularly. So these videos would certainly help! And I’m sure my two kiddos (ages 2 & 4) would love to dance right along side me.

I need to pick up my workout. This would be great!
I need to work on consistency in working out. I really stink at doing it every day.
I definately need to work on making exercise a regular part of my routine! I’m really good at making excuses but it’s time to become healthier!
Consistency. I always skip several days in between workouts and that’s not good at all!
I would like to eliminate processed sugar from my food intake!

I need to work on eating healthier foods & exercising more.
I need to drink more water and less coke.
I really need to work on consistently exercising and eating healthier every day, all day. Sweets are my downfall 🙁

I need to work on adding more exercise to my day. Definitely need more flexibility and endurance. I’ve been getting neck/back pain lately, which is an indication of how unhealthy I’ve been living! These workout DVDs would go to great use!
