This is a sponsored post to bring awareness to National Kidney Disease month and prevention and how you can help.
Did you know that, one in three Americans are at risk for chronic kidney disease. Kidney disease causes more deaths than breast cancer or prostate cancer and is the 9th leading cause of death in the U.S.
It’s crazy right, and it’s not something that is talked about. It is estimated that 30 million people in the U.S. are affected but 90% of those with kidney disease don’t even know they have it!.
What do we do about that?
March is National Kidney Disease Prevention Month so let’s do something about National Kidney Disease by raising awareness.
The Mendez National Institute of Transplantation Foundation (MNITF) is a 501c3 non-profit organization founded in 1994 that has created the “Get the Facts! Get Checked! Get Healthy!” PSA which delivers a strong call-to-action about kidney disease prevention, the need for organ donation, and learning more about research, education and innovation at FixingPaco.org.
