Portable UV Nail Dryer (samples received)
Summer is hanging on here in the Pacific Northwest and that means it’s still sandal weather well into September. I recently took my 5 year-old for her first salon manicure/pedicure and she loved it. Now every time I go get my nails done she wants to come along. Hmmm on second thought maybe that wasn’t the best habit to start… Although we had a great time together, pedicures are something that I enjoy doing. By myself. For a little bit of mommy quiet time every few weeks.
Because our time together is more limited now that she’s started kindergarten, we decided to have a mini salon in our house to spend some time together. Thankfully I was sent the Melody Susie Portable UV Nail Dryer to try out and review. Having the nail dryer was a great addition to our normal nail polish process.
As anyone knows it’s hard to kids to sit still for very long. And once she’s had her nails cut and painted it’s virtually impossible to sit for 15 more minutes for the polish to dry.
Both of her hands fit into the UV Nail Dryer and she was able to sit and dry her nails while I painted her toes. By the time I was done painting her toes her fingernails were dry and we were able to put the nail dryer on the floor to fit both her feet.
The nail dryer was easy to plug in and the cord was long enough to easily reach the wall outlet from out dining room table. It’s also lightweight and stores easily back in the small box it arrived it. If you plan to use it with any child remind them that the UV bulb does get warm, even hot once it’s been on for a while. Not hot in an un-safe way, but that it could possibly burn a wiggly finger that got too close.
Melody Susie Portable UV Nail Dryer can be purchased at amazon.com for $19.99 and is absolutely worth the time it saves.
