Meal Plan Monday

October 13, 2008 by Momstart 2 Comments

Everyone says that if you make a meal plan that you will be able to save money.

I’m not good at sticking to a meal plan. However, I did pick out some items that I can pick from to make some meals:

Ravioli and Green beans

Sandwiches * 2

hot dogs * 2
mac n cheese and corn * 2
mexican * 2
pizza * 2
chili cream cheese * 2
pasta & cheese
chicken curry sandwiches * 2
mashed potatoes, chicken, green beans
gravy and biskits

The times two means it will probably last at least two meals. Therefore I have about 18 meals to pick and choose from.

My grocery list:

corn

milk

creamer

bread

buns

mustard

black olives

sour cream

sausage

chips

mayo

This week I don’t have a lot of coupons for things. I have milk and sour cream vouchers from writing to the company and complimenting their product. They were very gernerous.

I’m also going to get Dog food and treats today.

I’ll give the total expenses update later

We can’t let this furry beast go hungry now can we?

He does after all do our baby sitting for us!

and clean up! you can’t forget the value of the services dogs perform in the ‘cleaning up after little kids eat’ department. i miss that a lot. right now, micah cleans up after himself. when he’s done eating, i take him out of the chair and put him on the floor, and he crawls around eating all the food he dropped. i could probably save a step and just serve his meals on the floor. ya think?
