Madeline’s Great Adventure Review and Giveaway

June 19, 2010 by Momstart 171 Comments

madeline Madeline’s Great Adventure comes out on June 29th to DVD for everyone to watch. We received a preview copy to review and Zoe has more interest in Madeline and her adventures than Miles does. They don’t usually have any differences in opinions but Miles would rather play and have his own adventures.

In Madeline’s Great Adventure her loyal canine companion Genevieve, her puckish next-door neighbor Pepito and her 11 delightful classmates from Miss Clavel’s Parisian school encounter royalty and pirates in this animated, fun-filled DVD. They encounter their very own Arabian lamp, a visit from the Prince of Monaco, a band of pirates and even track down 40 charitable thieves in Madeline’s Great Adventures. There are six adventures total:

  • Madeline and the Magic Carpet
  • Madeline On Safari
  • Madeline and the Lost Crown
  • Madeline and the Gypsies
  • Madeline and the Pirates
  • Madeline and the Forty Thieves

Madeline is inspired by the beloved classic books that introduced us to a dozen delightful girls who live in an old house in Paris covered with vines, Madeline’s Great Adventures is full of adventures that transpire and enchant young children while they watch.

Oh goodness, I don’t know…I really like the Rugrats which I believe has a season or so on DVD. Madeline is great as well. I used to watch that when I was little.

I used to watch Madeline when I was a child and I can’t think of any other story right now so I will go with that as my favorite choice.

I love Madeline, she was one of my favorites as a kid. I was obsessed with all things French since I started taking it in 1st grade. My other favorites that were made into movies were Asterix and Obelix, I wish I could find the live action, and Tin Tin which is in production.
