While I was on my road trip sponsored by Microsoft Windows I had to stop and eat every now and then. So one of the places I stopped was a family favorite and restaurant that we all know well and love. We stopped at IHOP, the international house of pancakes and I was in love with the new selections.
· Red Velvet – Rich, chocolaty red velvet pancakes, drizzled with cream cheese icing, a dusting of powdered sugar and crowned with whipped topping.
· Sweet Strawberry – Fluffy famous buttermilk pancakes crowned with cool strawberries in glaze, drizzled with cream cheese icing and crowned with whipped topping.
· Whole Wheat Pancakes with Banana – Wholesome and lightly sweet fluffy whole wheat pancakes topped with fresh sliced bananas.
With these new options it was very hard to make a selection. For the kids I selected the Whole Wheat Pancakes with banana. You can order it for kids and it’s a single pancake with egg substitute and bacon making is around 300 calories which for that amount of food is amazing. The kids LOVED it.
For me, I had to order the red velvet pancakes. I’ve had them before and knew I loved them, I just had to get them again.
When they arrived and I started eating them the kids said, mommy you need to eat your real food before you eat your dessert. And they were right these pancakes are so good it’s like eating a dessert.
