Do your kids love Minecraft? Miles and Zoe are Minecraft experts, and the last time they visited, they explained all about the ins and outs to Jai and I, since we are clueless old people. 😉 I still don’t know how to train a horse in Minecraft, but I do know that the Bishop children are going to be thrilled to learn that they and their fellow Washington kids will be able to play Minecraft on the big screen when Super League Gaming brings it to Cinemark Lincoln Square starting March 11th!
Super League Gaming aims to create the little league experience for children who are more into gaming that softball, with a social gaming organization that gives kids the chance to play video games in a theater. Starting next Saturday, March 11th, and running for four consecutive Saturdays through April 1st, children 17 and under can join the Super League’s City Champs event in 12 cities nationwide. During these City Champs Qualifiers, kids will test their teamwork skills along with critical thinking and decision making as they aim for a spot in the Playoffs. Participants can enter as many Qualifier events as they wish; their top two scores will count towards their ranking and determine who advances to the Playoffs later this spring.
Not only is this a fab way to develop problem-solving skills, but it’s also your child’s chance to spend 90 minutes playing Minecraft on the big screen – how fun is that?!
