I love using Krusteaz baking mixes because they save a lot of time and they are easy to use to make something special with them. We have this cute baking mold that says Merry Christmas, I wish I had one that says Happy New Year because I want to take these cookies to the New Year’s party I’m going to later this week. We used the Krusteaz shortbread mix for making this amazing cookies. They were delicious and the kids and I devoured them.
Another thing that I made with Krusteaz this holiday and we highly recommend them are these Cinnamon Roll Cookies. We omitted the nuts because my daughter has braces but it’s still a fantastic recipe even with our changes.
Cinnamon Roll Cookies:
1 package Krusteaz Snickerdoodle Cookie Mix

1/2 cup chopped pecans
3/4 cup powdered sugar
2 tablespoons milk

- For Cookies: Blend Krusteaz Snickerdoodle Cookie Mix, butter and egg until dough forms. Transfer dough to floured surface. Roll into 12×8-inch rectangle. Sprinkle cinnamon-sugar and pecans over dough. Starting with 12-inch side, roll into tight log. Cover and refrigerate until firm.
- Cut into 1/4-inch slices. Place 1 inch apart onto greased cookie sheet. Bake 7-9 minutes.
