Have I told you that I easily get lost. I go into Seattle as little as possible because every time I go there I get lost. I would always print off directions to get me there and sometimes I would make it there. Then finding parking is different from finding the place you want to go to. So once I found parking then I had to find the place I was going. Then going home I always got lost, finding an on-ramp to I-5 is almost impossible. I finally got into a habit of printing myself a map home but that never worked, I would always miss something or the route wouldn’t be to I-5 North and I didn’t want to go south just to go North. And everyone says it’s as easy as following the highway signs. Here’s the problem with doing that. You follow the signs they say go this way for I-5 South and this way for I-5 North, so you get in the lane you want to then all the sudden you find a sign that says I-5 turn left and the left lane was for South so you don’t take it and you keep driving and driving and driving and ummm then you have no idea where you are. It’s so bad! For me though, It’s not even just Seattle, I get lost everywhere I go. I was trying to take my kids to a birthday party a few nights ago and I missed the place. I turned around and still missed it. I was so frustrated that I couldn’t find it. I almost quit. My problem, I wasn’t using VZ Navigator.
VZ Navigator is a navigation app with features like school zone and speeding alerts, gas prices, and reliable real-time traffic. VZ Navigator also has natural language voice guidance, which uses traffic lights and number of streets instead of feet or meters, to provide a safer driving experience. The spoken turn by turn navigation is my favorite feature. I currently have a Windows Phone 7 and my husband has Windows Phone 8 and he told me that I should really upgrade. One reason is that VZ Navigator is available on Windows Phone 8. You can use the single search box or say what you want using the automatic speech recognition for a safer experience. Another really great feature is that you can find out what the speed zone is if you are unsure.
