Check it out….I’m going to be on Lifetime’s The Balancing Act April 17th talking about Sani-brand. Ashley and I went down to Florida back in February to record the segment. We were told to put on our makeup and do our hair like we normally do it. I don’t usually wear makeup so I just put a little foundation on. They told me that I wasn’t quite fit for HD, so they made me fit.
Then we did the segment. The behind the scenes of getting ready for TV takes a long time. Makeup, hair, prep, practice, instructions, waiting, and taping a few times. We only taped it three times and I know they made magic piecing the good parts from each taping together. I love movie/tv magic.
Spending time with the people behind Sani-brand Sani-hands and with my contributor Ashley was a great experience for me too. I mean these people really believe in their product and have a lot of heart. What’s not to love about a product that kills germs and is easy to use and doesn’t make a mess on the go. I love using Sani-brand when I’m out and about without a bar of soap. (I mean any kind of soap, who uses a bar of soap anymore?).
And the people behind The Balancing Act are so nice and friendly too. Danielle Knox is so good at carrying the conversation and being spontaneous. She can ask the same question in 20 different ways and surprised me every time. She’s also very personable and told us about her son and made us feel right at home. I almost forgot about the cameras and bright lights shining on me. It was once I started stumbling that I felt like a deer caught in headlights and zoned in on the camera. OOOPS. Ashley did an amazing job though. The Balancing Act is dedicated to creating trusted solutions, illuminating new ways for women to achieve success and help women face today’s greatest challenges. Here’s a little teaser to the segment:
