Icential Coolwraps – The One Icepack that Does it All
When I heard there was a single ice pack that could serve SO MANY different purposes, I happily signed up to check it out. Icential sent me some samples to see if these icepacks can really help declutter my freezer… AND keep things cold. The answer? YES!
If you’re anything like me, or most other moms I know, your freezer probably has way too many of those little reusable cold packs. Add that to the stashed first aid ice packs, the weirdo shaped ice packs that come with baby bottle coolers, some boo-boo packs… and you’ve got a Jenga style mess that topples over 75% of the time that I open the freezer. It’s not like I can go without ice packs though. That’s why I was really interested in testing out the Icential Coolwraps.
These soft, fabric covered, flexible wraps, really do work for a wide variety of things. When the husband and wife creation team first designed them, they wanted a cool pack that could do it all. I’ve tested these out for keeping a cooler cool (lunch box size), putting on a sore wrist, and wrapping around my water bottle. They worked for all three things! Don’t worry, Coolwraps are also easy to clean which is important if you are using them for so many different things. You just hand wash them in mild soap and water to clean the fabric exterior.
I love that Coolwraps are connectible allowing you to adjust them to the size you need using Velcro. I also love that they are flexible enough to wrap around bottles, food containers, and even ankles! Icentials are made with Cool+ Gel: a combination of food-grade and organic materials. I didn’t put it to any official tests but it holds in the cold hour after hour lasting 5 times longer than regular ice packs.
If you’re looking for a way to serve cold food for a family get together or party, I would definitely recommend checking out Icentials. I’m actually planning to use mine on Thanksgiving. I will simply hook the packs together, lay them on the serving table, and put the dish that I want to keep cool on top! That is not something I can do with any of the other icepacks I own.
