Your smartphone is something that once existed only in the realm of science fiction. It’s capable of capturing videos and photos so that you can stay connected while on vacation and bring home the memories. You don’t have to waste rolls of film trying to get that perfect shot or rewind a tape only to record another attempt at a great video clip. Some smartphones such as the Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus, paired with the T-Mobile network, have an app that let you edit images almost immediately. You’ll appreciate being able to deliver those images to family and friends through the nation’s fastest 4G LTE network.
When you’re looking for a smartphone upgrade, you’ll want to take all of your potential uses into consideration. Those uses include the images you take while you’re on vacation. Ask yourself what specifications are most important to you. Do you want a large screen for easy viewing or the latest processor that sends your files to storage in seemingly no time at all? Do you need the most onboard memory possible so that you can keep taking pictures without lag from the smartphone? Some devices address all these issues while others only cover one or two.
Ultimately, the smartphone you buy is the one that reflects your needs and wants. Learn more in the infographic above, which lays out the latest smartphone models and the strength of each one. Use this handy guide to help you make the smartphone purchase that’s right for you and right for your vacation needs.
I have an iPhone and I am really happy with it. It has enough storage and it takes really good pictures 🙂
I need a phone with big power and lots of pixels. I love to take tons of photos, and I love to edit them on the go.

I have my iPhone 7 Plus and love it! It takes the best pictures! I was super excited when we bought the Mophie to keep it nice and charged. I would say to also be sure to contact your cell phone provider if you’ll be traveling out of the country to see if there is a cost-effective plan, so you don’t get charged roaming fees.
All those phones have great features so the one with the best photo capability and video capability would make me choose it. I also like a long battery life for convenience.
Storage capacity is really important. Nothing is worse than getting the “no more room to take photos” error.
I love this, I am on the look out for a new phone I’ve run out of storage on mine and everything keeps crashing and I’m all for a phone that would be good when travelling.

When traveling, I usually take my DSLR with me. My phone would be my back up camera so it has to be at par with my DSLR. A phone with a high megapixel feature is what I would need. Oh, and the phone should also be power efficient. I hate it when my phone dies out on me.
I have the Samsung s8 and really love it! I find it to be super sleek and perfect for handling work on the go!
