I’ve been wanting to make some pickles for a while now and I finally did it. A friend of mine once told me that all you have to do is pour some vinegar in a jar and add some veggies and that’s how you can make pickles. When you make them like this they are good for about 2 1/2 weeks and 3 weeks. For this recipe I used NAKANO Rice Vinegar Basil & Oregano to make the Pickles
Basil & Oregano Pickles Recipe
1 cup carrots (diced)
1 large cucumber (thinly sliced)
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup white sugar
1 cup Nakano Basil & Oregano Rice Vinegar
1 teaspoon celery seed
Mix the cucumbers and carrots with the salt and let sit for an hour.
Add the sugar, vinegar and celery seed and mix well
