Kellogg’s Rice Krispies sent me a small kit and a recipe to make pumpkin shaped hidden surprise Rice Krispies treats. I didn’t feel like making pumpkins, I wanted to make something more spooky and I was inspired by the movie Frankenweenie because I was so surprised during the movie so I made Hidden surprise bats!
We had a lot of fun working as a family. Zoe and I put these together and came up with how our bats should look. Making Kellogg’s Rice Krispies Treats for the holidays, makes memories with your kids that last a lifetime. And I know that baking with mom and dad is one of our children’s favorite past times.
Zoe measured, she stirred
We snuck pieces of chocolate when no one was looking
And we got our hands dirty making bat shapes
She said they needed fangs and ears and eyes.
