I’m not sure if this is normal or not but my kids are obsessed with Post-it® Notes. Whenever we buy them they end up all over the house. I find Post-it® Notes of all kinds. Zoe even used them last year to wish her brother happy birthday. She left Post-it® Notes on his door and in his room.
We’re working with Post-it Brand and they sent us all of their new collections from the Post-it Brand World of Color collections. The Post-it Brand World of Color collections is a new line of Post-it® Notes for 2015 available in a range of eye-catching new colors with color palettes inspired by nine vibrant cities from around the world, including Marrakesh, Rio de Janeiro, Bora Bora, Jaipur, Cape Town, Bali, Marseille, Helsinki, and New York.
We decided to come up with a list of things to do with the Post-it Brand World of Color collections.
We always use them to make our grocery lists. The colors are great and I found that it’s actually easier now to find my grocery list in my purse because of the contrast of the pink against the soft blue.
My daughter made a recipe with my friend and as they created the recipe they used a Post-it® Note to keep track.
I also use Post-it® Notes to keep up with my list of work to do for the day. I keep them handy for blog post ideas and you can often see them all over the computer as a reminder of what else needs to be done.
A friend of mine made a calendar with Post-it® Notes. I remember seeing the idea at a blog conference too. You get a picture frame and then you line the Post-it® Notes into rows and columns. You will have 7 columns and five rows because some months have five weeks and all weeks have seven days in them. Then you put your creation in a frame and you can use a dry erase marker for the dates and you can change it every month.
Another great use for Post-it® Notes is to make sports signs for your favorite teams. Last year I saw a lot of people using them in their office windows to celebrate the Seahawks.
My husband told me that lots of people will prank each other in the office by covering everything in the office using Post-it® Notes.
I’ve also found that you can make your own origami and Post-it® Notes are great for kids to make their own art creations for their rooms or the walls.
