I have an autoimmune disease which impacts my digestive system. When I heard about LoveBug Probiotics, I was eager to give them a try.
Probiotics can have many benefits, including improving digestion and absorption of food, as well as promoting overall health. Specific strains can even help fight colds, eczema, and sleep disorders. However, they can vary in quality and strength. The higher the concentration of active cultures, the greater the likelihood that you will see beneficial effects.
LoveBug Probiotics was founded by a woman who used probiotics to regain her health after her pregnancy. With 10 billion live active cultures in each bottle, LoveBug has three specific formulas for common health complaints: poor immune systems, poor digestion, and women’s health.
The LoveBug system is designed as a short-term concentrated dose of bacteria, with a special coating on the pills to bypass the gastric acid in your stomach and make it to the digestive tract. You take several flavorless, non-allergenic pills per day, and keep them in the fridge when not in use; the cycle is complete in 1-2 weeks.
So, do they work? Unfortunately, I haven’t seen improvement through LoveBug, or any other probiotic I’ve tried. It’s possible my condition is too severe, or the dosage is too low. But it’s a promising idea, that others have seen results with.
The probiotics can be purchased through the LoveBug website, or on Amazon.
