I am a voluntary participant in the Subaru of America Legacy Blogger program. I have been asked by Subaru of America to review their products in exchange for the use of a short-term vehicle loan. As always, all opinions are 100% my own.
One of the first cars I ever drove was a Subaru. I remember when Jai was teaching me how to drive, we would borrow his Grandma’s Subaru for me to practice driving around the block. That car later became his, and we got years of great use out of it.
Knowing how reliable Subaru vehicles are, I was excited to test drive a 2015 Subaru Legacy this week. You encounter a wide variety of terrain on the coast, so it’s important to have a safe car you can count on. This 4-door Sedan is my favorite vehicle size to drive: Compact and easy to maneuver, I can zip around town easily.
When the car was dropped off, the first thing I noticed was its pretty shade of Twilight Blue. I hopped inside and right away noticed its comfortable interior; I got cozy, hooked up my phone to the Bluetooth so I could play my tunes, and had Jai ride shotgun so we could take a ride down to the beach!
There are a lot of updates in the Subaru Legacy for 2015; I’m really loving the options for increased visibility, like the EyeSight Driver assistance system that monitors traffic ahead, along with Rear Vehicle Detection System and rear-view camera, which comes standard on all models.
We’re going to have a road trip adventure along the Oregon coast this weekend, so I’m really excited to get away from it all in the 2015 Subaru Legacy! Make sure you follow me on Periscope @hardertobreathe to check out my live video updates, like this one:
And be sure to watch this space to see where the road takes us!
