Every morning I make breakfast for my husband, my 11 month old, and myself. We almost always sit down together for breakfast which I think is a pretty special thing. Sometimes it’s toast and eggs, sometimes it’s oatmeal, and sometimes it’s just good old cold cereal. The trouble comes though when it is one of “those” mornings. You know, when the overnight diaper leaked, the dog tracked mud in the house, the sink clogged up, somebody is sick, and you just frankly don’t feel like making breakfast. That’s where something like Gerber Graduates Breakfast Buddies Hot Cereal comes into play.

I was lucky enough to get 3 samples of this product. I tested out the Apple Cinnamon type on my little guy. It was a pretty successful experience. He is just beginning to use spoons and the texture of this oatmeal was perfect. It was thick enough to stick to the spoon, but soft enough for him to eat easily. As far as taste goes, this flavor was pretty sweet. I really liked the fact that you could see the actual pieces of apple mixed into the cereal. When Gerber says that the product includes real fruit, they mean it! These Breakfast Buddies may not be for everyone’s everyday use, but for “those mornings” or for travel, Gerber Graduates Breakfast Buddies Hot Cereal bowls are a great option. I also received samples of the peach and cherry flavors, but we donated those to our local MOMS Club cereal drive.
Thank you so much to Gerber for the samples as well as the donation to our drive!
