Mega Bloks – Imagination Builders for Kids of ALL Ages (Toddler, Preschool, School-Age, and Pre-Teen Gifts)
I love the developmental benefits of kids playing with blocks. No matter what age, building with blocks can spark creativity and strengthen problem solving skills. The ingenuity that comes with block and building play, really is valuable. Mega Bloks is a company that has been around for awhile helping children build those important skills. I had Mega Bloks growing up, and last year for Christmas, my son Atticus even found some Mega Bloks waiting under the tree and I’m impressed with the amount of Mega Bloks varieties
When you hear Mega Bloks, people usually think about the larger, chunky plastic blocks designed for toddler and preschool play. They are easy to connect, disconnect, and are the perfect size for small hands. Those traditional Mega Bloks are still some of my favorites, but now, there is so much more in the Mega Blok world.
I love the Lil Princess line of Mega Bloks. I was a pretty girly little girl (much to my mother’s dismay ;)) and would have gone crazy over some purple and pink blocks. While I know toys shouldn’t all be gender specific, I really appreciate any toy that pushes little girls to build and engineer.
On top of making great building sets for toddlers, and preschoolers, Mega Bloks also has several lines of more grown up toys. They have HALO sets (you might recognize that from the popular video game series) and even World of Warcraft sets. The pieces are small and require some intricate building, perfect for older children. To be honest, I think my husband would probably even love these!
Take a look at all of the Mega Bloks options. They have great gifts for boys, girls, and kids of ALL ages!
