When I was reviewing the NOOK Color’s children’s book collection Zoe and Miles were just mesmerized with the books. So I wanted to keep you updated on the latest NOOK Kids news!
Did you know that Barnes & Noble has an iPad app for NOOK Kids? The app allows you and your kids to enjoy more than 12,000 chapter books along with nearly 300 digital picture books – the world’s largest and growing catalog of interactive books for kids.
The iPad app lets you bring your family’s entire bookshelf with you wherever you go and explore the dynamic books for kids on your iPad, from beloved classics to new favorites, featuring the original artwork in beautiful color and a fun, interactive kids’ reading experience. My kids really enjoy looking at interactive books on the iPad. Before this new app, Miles and Zoe would play with the Sesame Street book, The Monster at the end of this book. It’s quite a bit of fun being able to tickle Grover, and knock down a wall of bricks.
When you download NOOK Kids for iPad, you can now enjoy the following two FREE children’s book titles, both with Barnes & Noble’s exclusive Read to Me feature.
1. Elephant’s Child by Rudyard Kipling
2. Fun Facts about Pets by award-winning children’s science author Seymour Simon
