Fit 2 B Mom is a company that is actually concerned about moms and their health. They want to encourage healthy eating and good exercise before, during and after being pregnant but most importantly they are interested in your health while being pregnant. They make clothing for pregnancy that is comfortable enough to be active in. Their active wear is made out of Lycra and Supplex and as far as I know that creates a very stretchy material. I like stretchy.
I think there are a lot of rumors that it is not safe to exercise and that you should take it easy and eat for two. Well, after being pregnant and putting on over 50 lbs with the first one I can tell you you do not have to eat like you are eating for two but your body is going to act like it’s that hungry. I chose the wrong foods and am still struggling with my weight loss.
There is always a balance even when you are pregnant. If you eat healthy and take care of your body you will be providing your baby with the perfect balance of nutrition and health. When you blood is pumping strongly then you’ll be nourishing the baby with every beat.
Fit2BMom includes even more support than just a sizing chart for their maternity clothing.. On-line they have a blog where you can learn more tidbits about excising while being pregnant.
And husbands, buying clothing, even maternity clothing for your wives is ok! You have a great Christmas Idea here.

When I first got pregnant, my doctor told me that I needed to gain extra weight… well, I guess I went overboard, and gained 98 pounds..
2 years later, I got pregnant again, just after I had finally lost all the weight. I gave birth to twins last month, and I am still up an extra 80 pounds. With 3 kids under the age of 3, it is really hard to find time to work out, because if I do have time, I really just want to curl up and sleep! This would be awesome to win, as a little extra encouragement! Thanks for the chance!
When I first got pregnant I exercised and ate right, but then at 13 weeks I almost lost my baby so then I stopped exercising. I was so scared of losing him again. I ended up gaining 40+ pounds with him. I was 178 lbs. the day I delivered my son and 17 months later I weigh 110 lbs. This is all due to my very active son! I struggled with my weight until he learned to crawl and then once he was running around, the weight just fell off and I’m actually skinnier than I had planned to be! We are going to start trying for our second in January, so this time around I’m going to be smarter about it and eat healthy AND exercise!
When I was pregnant with my one and only little girl (now four) I found throwing up everyday for 9 mths to be a GREAT way to keep the weight down.
Running back and forth to the toilet and getting up and down to heave ho at the toilet bowl for all those months really gave me a workout. It was great ’cause instead of procrastinating (one of my attributes)about exercise, the decision was made for me.
The other great result from this kind of workout was that immediately after I gave birth, I was back to my usual weight! Trouble is, now I’m back to procrastinating about exercise, too.
I’m am expecting and due in Feb. This is my third child and I have a history of preterm labor and was having contraction so I’m on bed rest for the rest of my pregnancy.

My MOMS (Moms Offering Moms Support) Club has a Fitness Club that I was doing all the way through my 9th month. We all enjoy working out together with our sports strollers toting our children along (and showing them that fitness is a life long lesson we want to pass on … not just say, but doing … I digress). However, since we live in wet, grey Seattle we take a break in the late fall, winter and early spring SOOO I had my hubby purchase an Octane eliptical. For now I’m inside working out and inspired by the Biggest Loser TV show … Those workout days are my fav!

I am planning on getting pregnant in the next 2 months (if everything goes well!) and I exercise regularly now. My goal is to drop 2 sizes before I get pregnant so I can be at my healthiest when the time comes!
well, this isnt for me. i have had my two beautiful babies, and still have about 25 of the 80 lbs that i gained to lose (but I am getting there!) I would like to win this for my sister, Candice. She is an Airman 1st Class in the USAF! just a few short months ago she took an assignment to be stationed in Japan for 4 years. and whatdaya know? She gets Preggo! halfway around the world. Her and her husband are thrilled and they have decided that due to the economy they are not going to end her enlistment and try to move back and find work. So here I am with a little sister that is preggo for the first time and I am nowhere near her to cheer her on to stay healthy! (i know from experience how important this is!) BUT i am super proud of her and thought that this would be that remonder from me to stay in shape! Thanks for the chance to win!
I try to stay very active as I have heard that delivery is easier if the mother is in good shape! I take pilates classes 2-3 times a week, have just completed a women’s weights class to become more familiar with the equipment, do cardio at the gym or walk in my neighborhood when the weather is nice. I was excited to learn in September that I was pregnant; I was devastated to miscarry at 10 weeks. I have taken some time off from everything to let my mind and body heal, now I am ready to get back to a routine. I plan to go back to the gym next week. I will try to keep a positive attitude but part of me worries that it will not happen for me as I am almost 40 and had another miscarriage last year. I am resilient, I will become strong again, I will stay positive.
I did a terrible job exercising with my first two pregnancies. I did better with the third, but next time I’ll schedule workouts for myself 3-5 times a week. I know that I’ll feel better, less blah, and I believe that it will help me keep my strength up during labor.
walk and drink lots of water

I have a newborn at home and he’s too young to leave at the daycare at the gym but I hope to get back soon.
I am a stay at home mom of two kids age 2 and 6 months. My exercise tip is to take walks. I have found it to be so refreshing for my mind, heart, and body to get out of the house, breath some fresh air, clear my head, and get my blood going. It doesn’t really feel like exercise. Also, the activity does wonders for my two year old and wears him out so that he can take a nap. And, walking with my husband is a great way to talk and share our lives. I plan on getting pregnant again and it would be so fun to have cute gear to wear that is comfortable. Thanks for this awesome giveaway!
My husband and I had been trying for a baby for almost a year and when a trip to the ObGyn revealed that everything “down there” was fine and I shouldn’t have any problems getting pregnant, I started to look at my diet and exercise regime to see if that was part of the issue. I started logging everything I ate in a diary and found that, although I was working out regularly and eating what I thought was a healthy diet, I was actually consuming massive amounts of sugar and salt. I am a picker by nature and found that I was nibbling my way through an extra 500 empty calories a day!! I committed to eating three medium sized meals a day with two snacks and NO snacking in between. I allowed a little treat everyday that had to fit into a small tupperware container and once it was gone, that was it until the next day! I also added interval training and weights to my workout and viola! 20 pounds lighter, my husband and I are back to trying and fingers crossed, in the next few months, we’ll have a little one on the way! Either way, I’ve changed my eating habits for life and am a much healthier, and happier, person as a result!
I am adoptive mom and a woman with type I diabetes. Exercise keeps me mentally, physically, and emotionally healthy. I would love to own some new workout gear to keep me feeling happy and motivated!
I’m worried that pregnancy will slow me down. I’m a serious athlete and I don’t know what I would do without daily exercise and sports. Seeing women marathoners with children is encouraging though. Maybe I can have it both ways.
When I was pregnant, I walked everyday at lunch with a girl friend.
I have a chance at $100,000 – You could win a trip to the Super Bowl for voting for me. Vote here: http://www.nfl-monster.com/#Candidate-New-Orleans-Saints Thanks
I have never been a very “fit” person. This is now coming back to bite me… as my husband and I are wanting to get pregnant. We have been having trouble and I am afraid that this is due to my weight. In order to start our family – we have both began initiating a life style change. Changing the way we eat, the way we exercise, the way we spend our days, the vitamins we take… everything. We drastically reduced our portion sizes and began cooking healthier. We have began doing exercise videos in the morning and walking several miles at night. We now spend our together time… playing tennis, softball, at the lake… instead of in front of the tv or computer. It has taken me a long time to figure out how to be healthy… but I am willing to do whatever it takes to have a healthy child and I think that we are on a great start.
I have two children, one is 20 months old and the other is 6 months old. I barely lost half the weight from my first when i got pregnant with my second. Then after having my second, I didn’t have a chance to do much of anything because he had open heart surgery at 3 days old, and we were at the hospital for 2 weeks. Then once we came home it was all about doctors appointments and being a new mom of two children! With no family in the area and not trusting people to watch my children I never get to lose the weight!! But now where my son is healthy and all better! I have bought yoga videos and my daughter and i do them, she thinks its fun to exercise with mommy!!!
i walk and drink lots of water, i have lost 50 lbs since january 2009, of what i gained when preg last year by just watching what i eat and moving more.. cleaning house anything.
through both of my pregnancies I walked and swam 3-4 times a week, until the last month I had to be put on bed rest

While pregnant, I did preganancy pilates several times a week. Not only did this low impact exercise keep me in shape during my pregnancy, it helped me build my core muscles to be strong for labor!
I’d love this for my niece who is expecting her first very soon 🙂
I have always been active and healthy. During my pregnancy I exercised every day. I did aerobics, jogged lightly, biked, did preggo yoga or walked. Total I gained about 25 pounds. I had a natural pregnancy and labor. Labor was long, but due to exercising and eating healthy during my pregnancy I had a 36-hour drug free labor, and was back to my regular size a week after giving birth. Now my baby is 5 months and we are just starting to jog a little with the stroller, otherwise we walk a few miles a day with him in a carrier. He loves to nap in there.
Im entering for my best friend! She had a baby last summer, and is now pregnant again. She didn’t have time to lose the baby weight from her first before she was pregnant with the second. Now she feels that its too late to get fit.
I’d really love to show her that its not too late, I want her to be healthy so she can run around with a toddler and a newborn!
I will do exercise before getting pregnant to maintain healthy weight.
I just do a lot of walking when i’m pregnant and stay active. No over-doing it..
I’ve been procrastinating, saying it is too cold or too hot to exercise lol. Well I bought some green tea and its kicking me in gear to start working out.
