I’m so excited to share with you that I’m writing for Residence Inn by Marriott. Residence Inn by Marriott has a family Facebook page called, the “Residence Inn by Marriott Family Travel Talk” forum on Facebook and I invite you to join because there you’re going to hear from other bloggers like me that travel a lot. Over the past five years I’ve traveled a lot with and without my kids. Weekly you’ll tips and articles like the one I’m sharing with you below, but this one, to see it all you’re going to have to jump over to the “Residence Inn by Marriott Family Travel Talk” forum on Facebook. Here is what you will find….
Traveling with your children can be a great adventure and doesn’t have to take place at the same spots everyone else goes on vacation. Disneyland, Disneyworld…been there…Universal Studios…done that. There are plenty of creative ways to spend your summer with your children on the road and off. Even if you do want to go down to Kissimmee, there are more things to do than the theme parks. A few of my favorite places to travel with my family:
· Cruising: My kids ages 5 and 6 both LOVED going on a cruise last year and there are ports across the United States with ships that travel to exotic places all over the world. Check out Puerto Rico, where there’s so much history within its walls, or spot some whales with the family on a cruise from Seattle to Alaska.
· Utah: I recommend Park City, with mountains to visit in the winter for skiing and snowboarding, and in the summer for hiking, biking and other warm-weather activities. Don’t miss the Olympic Park, where athletes train all year round.
