Today was a beautiful day. The sun made me refreshed and I actually got some work done in the house today, but this afternoon, I spent it all outside with the kids.
We moved into our house about six months ago and I’m still not completely moved in. Since we ordered a new couch that is going to be delivered this week, I really needed to unpack some of the boxes that were just thrown in my room. I need to make room so that my husband and I can move the couch we have to the loft upstairs. Part of the organization that I did, required me to put way the rest of the Christmas decorations, yes they were still in the middle of the loft. In boxes of course but not put completely away. I can’t possibly be the only disorganized mother out there right?
I didn’t finish, there is still a lot of junk that needs to be put away, but I made a lot of headway and that’s why I spent the rest of the afternoon enjoying the sunshine. Because in the state of WA who knows when the sunshine will come back. I just checked the weather and yes it says RAIN is in the forecast for tomorrow.
I cherish the sun, relish in it. It makes me feel alive and gives me the needed energy to function. I mean, I’m a completely different person when the sun is out verses when it’s raining outside. Oh well, I guess it means that tomorrow is going to be a movie day after church!
I totally agree. Everyone I knew was out today, at the park or doing something. I relish in the sun too.
What a beautiful day, at least it lasted for one day.
And the rain is back! Hope the sun is out tomorrow … PLAY DATE! BTW, you looked great in the bathing suit and in this picture too! Have you lost a lot of weight? You’re looking good!!! Even MK said something about that to me the other day (she was on your blog).
I love the sun too! Glad you got to spend the afternoon outside with the kiddos.
I like your blog,… nice post keep blogging…
I know how you feel I live in the panhandle of Florida and for the past week we have had seve rain storms with thunder and lightening. Today was very hot but a clear blue sky!
I just took the last of our Christmas decorations out to the garage last week! So you are not alone. =)
