A few weeks ago we received a Hyundai Santa Fe for a week to drive around town and it’s in my top picks for a new family car. What makes the Hyundai Santa Fe such a great pick for a family car? Well one of the first reasons it would be in our top pick for a family car is because of it’s price. The Hyundai Santa Fe starts at just over 30,000. Other features that make the Hyundai Santa Fe the perfect family car is because of the comfort and space inside. The one we drove was a 5 seater, but you can get an optional third row of 7 seats with a different model. And when you get the one with the third row you still have all the leg room you need as the vehicle is a bit longer, and the middle seats can be Second-Row Captains Chairs. Talk about comfort!!
We have a list of some of our other favorite Hyundai Santa Fe Features:
Our favorite Apple Car-Play is featured in the Hyundai Santa Fe. Now that I’m driving my car again, I so miss being able to use the Apple Car-Play. Apple Car-Play makes it so much easier to integrate your phone and all its features into the car. I love being able to use my map and also easily access all of my music stored on my phone.
We also used SiriusXM.
Multi-View Camera is a great feature that helps with driving. With the multiple cameras you can see better for backing up, and parking. I love using it to get close to the curb.
Automatic Breaking is great on the highway using cruise control. It also says there is automatic emergency breaking when the car senses another car or pedestrian. Luckily, I didn’t get the chance to test that feature.
Blind Spot Detection is a feature I’m already used to using on my car.
Lane Departure Warning is also a feature we use all the time. It’s really great for traveling down the highway.
Heated and cooled front seats for the adults and heated back seats make the kids happy. While the heated steering wheel made me fall even more in love with the Hyundai Santa Fe.
The Panoramic Sunroof/moon roof goes back so far. When the car was parked my son had to peek out and take a selfie. He also loved using it while we drove around town. He loved watching it go back and forth opening and closing it.
Third Row USB charging is great because kids always have devices in the car. I always wonder if I’m doing the right thing letting them have devices. I used to use car rides to read, now they are always playing games and trying to steal my USB.
I’m seriously considering this vehicle as our next family car because of all the space. We so need more space with kids getting taller and also wanting to go on adventures. Our car has no room for anything. The trunk has a battery in it, so I will miss having a hybrid and all that, but like I said we really need the room, and this thing,
