Entertaining for the Holidays may be over, however, Football season is still in gear and as we get closer to the Super Bowl there will be lots of party planning going on. I would prefer to watch the Puppy Bowl on Animal Planet, but to each his own. No matter what your party planning is you’re going to need some food ideas. So here is one that I like, I edited the recipe from AllRecipes.com. We are a no onion household. It’s a unanimous decision here so I’m sure that if you are an onion person that you might want to add some onions.
1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of chicken soup
1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
1 package of Cream Cheese softened (softened)
2 (6 ounce) packages sliced ham, chopped
24 mini bagels, split
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
- In a medium bowl, stir together the cream of chicken soup, Cheddar cheese, cream cheese, and ham. If you are a fan of onions you might want to add some chopped onions of your choice (1 cup). Spread onto the cut sides of the bagels. Place on a baking sheet.
- Bake for 10 minutes, or until toasted.
