Eddie Bauer wants to dive back into their roots and make sure they have the best product possible for their consumers. So they went and talked to women about jeans and how they want them to fit. I know jeans can be impossible and the Eddie Bauer Perfect Fit are truly a great fit. They conducted interviews with nearly 400 women to help inform their designers, and examined everything from the very beginning of the process from the design blocks to choice of fabrics.
Eddie Bauer has created a Women’s Fit Guide online to help you understand your fit and how the jeans will fit. Plus if you go in stores they will help you discover what size you are or which type of jean will fit you best. Now they split the Eddie Bauer Perfect Fit jean into three different categories: New Slightly Curvy, Truly Straight and curvy.
Slightly Curvy – 54% of all women have the modified hourglass shape. Slightly curvy is perfect for women with average waists and average hips/thighs. It follows your curves beautifully with enough room to ensure all-day comfort.
Truly Straight – designed for women with a flatter seat and smaller thighs. Truly straight follows the lines of your body, fits smoothly at the waist and won’t bag out at the seat ensuring a flattering look that makes the most of your natural shape.
Curvy – Do you often try on pants that fit well at the hip bot gap at the waist? Curvy comes in at the waist and offers more room through the seat and thighs hugging your curves to keep you looking and feeling great.
They make the determination by measuring your waist and hips and the difference and then you try on the jeans. They are all mid rise and give you some shape as they are all very stretchy without stretching out. Does that make sense? They fit the contours of your body but they don’t give where they get so big you can no longer wear them. They keep their shape and they are very comfortable.
Go into and Eddie Bauer store and let them size you up. The denim they are using on these jeans is a new kind of denim, it’s the first set of jeans using it. They have tested it and feel confident that you are going to love it. I’m sitting here right now comfortably working from the couch in my new jeans. Oh, did you want to know what size I fit into? I’m the slightly curvy and I’m not surprised.
What size are you?

I have trouble finding jeans that are the right length, since I’m short
I have horrible time finding jeans that fit right. I am short… and then when I find a pair that fits my butt and thighs (years of running, dance and gymnastics lol) they are always too big in the waist so they gap. When I finally find a pair of jeans that fit great, I buy a bunch of pairs.
I have problems with length — they seem too short or too long 🙂 *Thanks* for the giveaway!
I want to find jeans that arent low riders and its hard to find jeans that actually sit at my waist instead of having a 2 inch zipper,
Thanks for the awesome giveaway
Shopping for jeans is overwhelming and underwhelming at the same time. I think I am the Goldilocks of jeans: too short, too baggy at the waist, too baggy in the legs if it fits at the waist, too tight, too many embellishments… I haven’t bought a new pair of jeans in ten years – I just settle for whatever the thrift store has to offer. Thanks for the giveaway!
As I am curvy and have a true hourglass figure it’s really difficult to find jeans that fit perfectly without a HUGE gap at the waist! Would love to win these jeans! Thanks for the chance!

My issue is my abdominal area. I have a fibroid the size of a four month pregnancy. Add to that weekly bloating and un-bloating (is that a word?), lets say decompressing, so my jeans may fit when I’m one way and then not when I’m in the other camp. I guess I need to pairs of jeans, bloated-jeans and decompressed-jeans. And think, when I hit menopause, the fibroid will shrink so I’ll have to go jean shopping again.
