Harvard Sweet Boutique Gluten Free Review
The other day I had the opportunity to sample some good, chocolaty baked goods. They were by Harvard Sweet Boutique (www.harvardsweetboutique.com). This is a gourmet, all-natural dessert company that has hand-made goodies for any occasion. I got to try some brownies – mint, raspberry and peanut butter – and a peanut butter dipped in chocolate cookie. I was given a sample, but they were full size!, just a different variation from what they offer online (lucky me!).
The brownies were very good! I especially loved the mint one. I made sure to take a photo from the side so you can see that these brownies are layered. The mint was soft and the brownie “cake” part also had chocolate chips in! Very decadent! I’m personally not crazy about peanut butter and chocolate cookies, but these were well made. I am always impressed with a company that bakes gluten free cookies that don’t crumble. For a gluten free cookie it was well made.
Another point that grabbed my attention was that Harvard Sweet Boutique offers low-carbohydrate and gluten-free treats! I was in contact with the correspondent and she let me know all goodies are baked fresh and when they make the gluten free items they wait at least a day for the flour to settle and use separate equipment! So this made me feel comfortable enough to give some to my daughter who is on a strict gluten free diet, even though they are not a certified gluten free facility.
You can buy these baked goods online and have them shipped to friends, family, colleagues, etc. They’ll be sent with flat-rate shipping in a cute gift box that you can customize! There are themed boxes, ribbon styles and a variety of colors you can choose from to personalize the gift. It’s a lovely touch so that it feels like thought and effort has gone into selecting this gift and you are not sending a plain, boring box.
Visit their site! And look at my photos – Very cute gift boxes!
I met Lynn in MOMS Club and she has two children. One of which is the same age as my daughter and they love to giggle and play together. Lynn Hooper is also a local Mary Kay Consultant while also being a full time mom. “A lot of what the business stands for is true to my heart. Mary Kay Inc. has a foundation that donates funds to help end domestic violence and also funds research into cancers that affect women. Mary Kay also has what’s called "The Golden Rule" which means God (faith) first, family second and business third. A great principal for me and nice to know I am part of a team that believes in this too.”
