Faith Approved has given me another wonderful opportunity. My family is currently enjoying The Chronological Bible. I have had this on my desk for a while. I wasn’t sure where to begin or now to review the bible. I was intimidated. So much so, I asked my husband to do it. He said yes and told me bits and pieces but he didn’t have time to write the review.
So here I am writing the review. I’m going to start with the only thing that bugs me. I’m not fond of the King James Version. There I said it, now lets get to the good stuff.
The Chronological Study Bible is PACKED with information. If you are a Sunday School teacher this would be great to help you with information the older kids ask. It provides background information for the books of the bible. You can find what is going on culturally. There are 1672 pages not including the maps; every page is full color. This bible is amazing.
I have always wanted to read the four Gospels in order that they occurred. Everyone knows them as Matthew Mark Luke and John. But The Chronological Study Bible begins with John and then next comes Luke. At the top of these pages is a timeline starting at the birth of Jesus.
