I found this recipe on my friend’s blog and because I didn’t have almond bark, I changed the recipe just a bit. I also didn’t take as many fantastic photos as she did, so if you want to see how to make Thin Mints with full photo instructions than you must visit her site. They are delicious and went very quickly.
Chocolate Sprinkle Thin Mints Recipe
Ingredients:
2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
Sprinkles
1 tsp peppermint extract
1/4 cup heavy whipping cream
1 sleeve of Ritz crackers
Directions:
Melt the chocolate chips and whipping cream in the microwave 30 seconds at a time and stir in between each session for about 2 minutes
Then dip each cracker in the chocolate and pull out (fork works well)
Sprinkle the sprinkles on the cookies.
Place in the freezer for 1 hour to harden the ganache
How fabulously easy..I’ve got to try this. My husband loves thin mints, and the sprinkles makes them look even more delicious!
OMG!! YUM!!
