Check out the new book from Chicken Soup for the pet lovers soul. If you love your cat or if you love your dog or if you love both of your pet species these two new books are for you. We all know, at least those of us that have pets that cats and dogs have so many stories to tell us, they crack us up with their schemes, and make us cry when they are hurt, and they even cuddle with us when we need some affection. Pets are AMAZING creatures.
Chicken Soup for the Soul: My Cat’s Life
From kittenhood through the twilight years, our feline companions continually bring joy, love, and laughter to the lives of their "staff." This collection of 101 new stories captures the experience of living through the natural life cycle with our cats — from the laugh-out-loud antics of kittens and tear-your-hair-out escapades of teenage cats to the more mature adult years and final stages of life. Stories cover each age and stage with all the fun, frustrations, special bonds and routines involved. The book also holds a special chapter about grieving and recovery when our feline friends leave us.
Chicken Soup for the Soul My Dog’s Life
It’s a dog’s life. This collection of 101 new stories focuses on all the memorable ages and stages of our lovable canines’ lives. Starting in puppyhood and covering a range of middle and senior years to the twilight and end when our dear friends leave us, this book captures the entire experience of living through the natural life cycle with our dogs. All dog lovers will laugh, cry, and recognize themselves and their furry friends in these heartwarming and inspiring stories of puppy antics, teenage rebellion, adapting to an aging dog and, finally, having to say goodbye.

I am blessed by having 2 dogs, and helping cat-sit for others…also my best friends have pets,…so these books would be fun to share if I get my paws on them!
I am sitting here with my cute little min pin right now. He is 9 1/2 y/o named Puppy. There are 6 other dogs that belong to my son and his wife but Puppy is mine. We also have cats, rats, and aquatic turtles.

I have had so many dogs through the years. Each and every one was the best and cutest little baby ever! That’s what they were told and it was true too. My current dog is of course the best and cutest now. They have all been good dogs.
I also had a few cats but not as many of those. They were more independent and didn’t care what I thought of them as long as the food kept coming.
I loved them all. And don’t regret loving a single one of them. It does hurt to lose them though.

We had two dogs until just recently. Our German Shepard Ike was 14 and had arthritis so bad that after much debate we had to have him put down. Our Black Lab Candy is 15 and misses her companion Ike. We do our best to keep her company now that he is gone.

I have 2 silly and beautiful English Springer Spaniels. They live for swimming season and are so spoiled they float around the pool on their own rafts.

Our beloved pets …. we have a 17 year old cat – Herman (aka munster lol), he’s been the cat with 9 lives and is a cancer surviver of VAS! He’d hate if I told everyone what a love-bug he really is 😉 We also just lost our beloved dog last month, she had nasal cancer (obviously we have a horrible record of pets with cancer). We miss her dearly. She was an abused rescue but she was the sweetest, best dog.. I am so thankful for the love we were able to give her and the love she gave us.
