Who what when where why and how,
Who what when where why and how
Who what when where why and how
Let’s solve this mystery.
I was telling my husband about having to review Busytown and he said Richard Scarry’s books?
How is it that my husband knows more about children’s items than I do? Richard Scarry’s books have sold over 150 million copies and have been translated into 30 different languages so I must be living under a rock to not know.
- The half-hour program is made up of two 11-minute stories per episode,You can watch Busytown Mysteries on CBS weekend mornings in the Cookie Jar TV block of children’s programming.. Go to http://bit.ly/busytownsched to check when the series is airing in your area.
Busytown is the first series that I literally had to turn the tv off to get my daughter to move. I’m not sure I’m going to say that’s a good thing. It’s an educational problem solving series with cute cat characters that I guess took over my daughter’s mind. We received a copy of two episodes to watch courtesy of One2onenetwork and we watched the same two episodes for three hours.
Busytown also entertains and educates kids at home with the fun, interactive website BusytownMysteries.com where kids can explore different neighborhoods in Busytown, interact with the Busytown characters and play 14 games and activities designed for preschoolers, including interactive games, a Fan Club and “My First Email,” which lets little ones email their progress to pre-approved friends and family addresses.
We went to explore the website and that took their attention away from the TV. They love interactive websites.
I wasn’t aware of this but I have grandkids in the age that it would be targeting and I think they would love it. I will have to look for it the next time they come to visit and check it out.
