10 Minute Trainer from Beachbody: The ultimate time saving Mommy workout
Beachbody and I go way back. I took my first P90X challenge when my youngest boy was two . I have been hooked since and greatly enjoying Insanity as well. Various workouts from these two series were part of my everyday routine when I worked only three hours a day … rain or shine. It is what Beachbody workouts thrive to achieve: once you really make a commitment, you will not only be encouraged to succeed and to see amazing results in your body but you will want to exercise every day. I have worked out since my teens, it is a habit and a step I take for my health and actually enjoy a lot. Some of you may think … right, there is nothing fun and enjoyable about torturing yourself for the sake of getting fit … but for me there is something extremely powerful in reaching my goals and proving myself to me. If you have never heard about the Beachbody company or tried their workouts, you will find 10 Minute Trainer to be the way to ease yourself into the big family of happy and fit millions who use Beachbody products.
With stress and obesity levels on the rise, Beachbody – creators of widely popular at-home fitness programs like P90X and INSANITY – provides mom’s everywhere with the "leanest" and "meanest" workout on the market, 10-Minute Trainer Beachbody has provided mother’s everywhere with the ultimate time-saving (and money saving) fitness tool, an ideal solution for busy moms looking to get or stay fit and healthy in only 10 minutes or stacked for 20 and 30 minute workouts. 10-Minute Trainer is a quick – but effective – power-packed total-body workout. Tony Horton – the creator of P90X – helps TMT users blast fat and get lean by packing cardio, total-body, lower body, abs and yoga flex into each workout for what he calls his Super Stacking(tm) technique. Each 10-minute routine works multiple muscles at the same time, allowing for better results in less time… perfect for the on-the-go mom.
For my review I received the 10 Minute Trainer Base kit which includes 5 workouts: Cardio, Total-Body, Lower
Body, Abs and Yoga Flex; also a resistance band, a cardio belt, a workout calendar, a guide book, and a meal book. Beachbody workout kits are always super organized and include excellent and useful materials. I really love my calendar because it is a great visual way of checking out my accomplishments and staying on track — I simply mark the days and workouts I completed. For me this little piece of paper is kind of my conscience and holds me accountable.
10-Minute Trainer works by getting you moving for 10 minutes. Now, I will be blunt with you, if you have 10 minutes somewhere and you are committed, you will eventually be able to find 20 or 30 minutes later on … because you will want to. The workouts are designed to move multiple muscle groups in the same time with the chance to kick it up a notch by using the cardio belt (installed to a shut door by hooking the bend to the belt to add extra body resistance) — all in 10 minute intervals. During my first workout, I simply followed the workout guide and did my first 10 minutes … I was warmed up and ready to roll afterward so I ended up doing all three set of 10 minutes for the day. If you can’t do that, that is okay, you have the opportunity to stop and come back the next day. The key is getting into a routine, getting used to using your body and creating a habit that will help you reach for bigger goals so the next day you may complete two 10-minute workouts.
Getting desired results in any workout routine of course has to be paired with a healthy diet, it is a lifestyle change. The 10 Minute Trainer kit includes a 10 Minute Meals guide, which will provide you with healthy and guilt free food ideas. I found that making small and wise changes both in my diet and my exercise routine delivers amazing results …. if you really stick with it … I kind of start to sound like Tony Horton.
Visit the Beachbody website and find amazing success stories and inspiration from others … in a few months you could be one of those stories.
