Sugar Free Keto Chocolate: ChocZero

August 16, 2018 by Momstart Leave a Comment

We received samples.image

ChocZero KETO BARK is this new found to us, chocolate that is sugar free and Keto friendly. It’s full of fiber and just amazing. We received two different flavors and I love both of them. I love the dark chocolate flavor (Dark Chocolate with Sea Salt) more but I do love both of them (Milk Chocolate). I even shared them with family and noticed how quickly they ate them as well. SO So good. I’m going to have to go out and get some more for myself now that they showed me how amazing it is.

image

ChocZero uses a zero-calorie, low carb natural plant called monk fruit to create delectable chocolate that’s low carb and sugar-free. Don’t settle while eating healthy!

ChocZero is a gluten free, soy free, and sugar alcohol-free company. They are also Kosher certified.

The ChocZero team consists of people who have friends and family living with diabetes and a sugar-free lifestyle. This motivated them to create a product that minimizes an aftertaste while providing a decadent treat!

I also just found out about ChocZero’s delectable Honest Syrups.

These sugar-free and alcohol-free syrups are perfect for topping a warm beverage, drizzled over ice cream or even pairing with morning pancakes and waffles.

With flavors blueberry, strawberry, chocolate, maple, and more – there’s a flavor for every occasion!

I think these products would make a great gift basket for any occasion. With fall coming up, putting together the syrups and the chocolates in a basket would make a great gift to take to someone’s house for any party. Probably would make a great teachers gift as well. Just something you might want to think about.

Touring The Chocolate Kingdom: My Kind of Palace!

April 19, 2014 by Beeb 2 Comments

Chocolate Kingdom

Tour and travel consideration provided by Experience Kissimmee.

When I looked at my itinerary for my first-ever Florida trip and saw a placed called Chocolate Kingdom on the list, I was all over it. A palace full of chocolate? Yes, please!

The Chocolate Kingdom is a chocolate factory & store that offers a tour showing how chocolate is made along with its history. We started off by watching a video featuring a prince and a dragon, who the guide “Talks” to via monitors throughout the tour. Here’s a castle made completely out of chocolate, with little edible figurines of our royal friends:

Chocolate castle

Our tour covered the origin of chocolate and went into detail about how it first came into use and how it is produced today.

Top cacao producing countries

The chocolate tree

Harvesting pods

The travelling history of chocolate

Processing chocolate

After our little history lesson, we tried our hand at a marshmallow catapult. I never did get my marshmallow in the dragon’s mouth, but it was fun trying!

Next, we took a peek into how chocolate is made today:

Sorting and cleaning beans

Cocoa beans

Refining and conching

During the tour, you are given a variety of different samples to taste, including cacao nibs, a spicy chocolate drink similar to that consumed by the ancient Maya, and other sweet treats. Once our tour concluded, we also had the chance to try our hand at dipping marshmallows in chocolate:

Dipping marshmallows

After I dipped my hand into the chocolate vat, my latex glove was completely soaked in chocolate, and my friends were cracking up laughing when they noticed me licking all the chocolate off my glove before tossing it in the garbage. WELL! I couldn’t let all the chocolate go to waste! 😉 After we left, I noticed that during my marshmallow dipping, I had managed to cover the bottom of my dress in chocolate. What a chocolate fiend I must be!

Chocolate fashion

These chocolate dresses are way more fashionable than my dress covered in chocolate was. 😉

Chocolate wine

Once you finish the tour, you can create a custom chocolate bar or pick up another tasty treat in the gift shop. Chocolate wine? Yes, please!

Handmade Holiday

November 14, 2008 by Momstart 4 Comments

The Parent bloggers Network has teamed up this week with Klutz. I love Klutz . I love lots of toys. Most of them actually, but Klutz usually come as books that show you how to create something and include the supplies.

They are brightly colored and spiral bound. So much fun.

Check out this special offer from Klutz – free shipping and a free copy of the award-winning Activity Book (a $14.95 value) when you order $50+ via this link. Just click it!

Well, the Parent Bloggers Network wants to know what you do for the holidays to save money? Do you make decorations or make the gifts.

Growing up I made a ton of decorations. I have no idea where they are now. I think the ones that have survived are now on my dad’s tree. Which, they might not even put up a tree this year. My sister and I are both having Christmas with our significant others. For me that means just my family here in WA.

We haven’t made anything yet. Last year I created an ornament for my daughter. I should make one for my son too. That way they both have one.

We’ll see.

I will make my daughter’s birthday cake from scratch. Her birthday is right after the holidays. This is the first time she had anything sweet. This was her first birthday. She loved Christmas and then getting to have cake. Oh man, my little girl just loves food and she knows what chocolate is. 😉 Well enjoy.

Christmas Shopping Idea

October 2, 2008 by Momstart 2 Comments

Oh my goodness time flies after you have children. I keep thinking of what am I going to get everyone for Christmas. I have the possibility of the photo books. And then a new idea came to me. What about gift baskets. It is another option that is really easy to do while I am sitting on the couch watching TV or while I am blogging or waiting on pictures to load. Hmmm.

Here are some ideas I found. Well, actually they were suggested to me and now I’m sharing the suggestion. Maybe they would like to donate to my moms club. I’ll have to ask them. Hmm.

This is one basket from chesapeakebaygiftbaskets.com. This is one of their gourmet gift baskets. It is 79.99 and includes quite a bit of items. You can view all of the details of other baskets that they consider to be Gourmet Gift Baskets

They also have other gift baskets. They have Spa Gift Baskets and Unique Gift Baskets. I spent a while looking at them.

Moms, since most of my readers are moms. I know you need to satisfy your mommy needs. They have baby baskets for your little monkey. Or for a mom going to have a baby.

They have Organic Baskets for all of us Greenies.

They also have my favorite.

YES OH YES – Chocolate. Their prices seem to range from a great price range. 25 dollars to 200 dollars. This is the one you all can buy for me. He he he

It is the chocolate king. I love love love chocolate. (love love love is from my daughter).
Here is the link to my chocolate order Click Me I haven’t ordered anything from them. I’m just looking for Christmas gifts. When I did this I found so much more. The baby section has lots of great items. Some look like you don’t need all of the stuff, but it would make a great decoration. There were quite a few blanket sets. It’s definitely worth a peak.

Baking mishap

September 4, 2008 by Momstart Leave a Comment

I can not for the life of me make chocolate chip cookies. Every time I try to bake them something goes wrong. So, I leave the baking of chocolate chip cookies to my husband. I can bake, I can make fancy cookies, there is just something about the basic chocolate chip cookies that I can not handle. They are gooey or caky, or dry. Sad thing, I have the ability to ruin even these.
