My kids love flavored milk and I really dislike giving them extra sugar at any time. But we still have flavored milk a few times a week, sometimes more often than that. So whenever I have the opportunity to give them flavored milk with less sugar I’m all about that. I’ve used Boost Kids Essentials in the past as a snack for the kids and we’ve been quite happy with the results. So when I had the opportunity to work with them here on MomStart, I was quite happy to accept and even get creative so I wanted to share this fun recipe with you, I’m sure you’ll enjoy it immensely.

When it comes to getting my kids to eat healthy I’ve found that I have to be a good example. My husband and I like different things, he’s the fruit eater and I’m the veggie lover. So between the both of us the kids see us eating a variety of items. However, I still feel that I have to make sure I’m eating everything that’s good for us so they will too. It’s a challenge but I find that it really is important. And it’s normal for picky eaters to be cautious about trusting an unfamiliar food. So, rather than simply insisting that a picky eater eat a food he or she hasn’t tried before, try these approaches to introducing nutritious new foods as suggested by ChooseMyPlate.gov and helpguide.org:

Oh that looks so healthy and yummy!
Sounds yummy!
If it’s got caramel syrup in it, it has to be delicious!
My kids would love this!
That looks totally good!
My kids would love this too! I think it sounds delicious!
Ooooh I know my oldest would love that. I already have to buy him Boost shakes anyway, because the medicine he takes can make him lose his appetite. This way, I know he is still getting the nutrition he needs.
My children love BOOST!
It’s caramel, banana, and loaded with vitamins? That’s a must make!
