I never get tired of trying new bath products – there’s something just so fun to me about getting to crack open a new body wash or lotion! So when I was introduced to BomaSense, I knew I’d enjoy giving their products a whirl. I received some testers from their Mango Collection, which consisted of the following products:
- Mango Hand, Face & Body Lotion: Mango is one of my favorite fruits, so I was excited to give this a try! The scent is very light and subtle – this lotion has a thinner, more watery consistency than the thicker lotions I tend to use, but doesn’t do a bad job; I like it as a body lotion but I prefer a heavier cream for my hands since I have a real issue with them cracking badly. I haven’t tried it on my face.
- Mango Liquid Face & Body Wash: This was my very favorite out of all the products! This is a nice, all-over body wash.
- Mango Shampoo: This shampoo got my hair nice and clean, although it did seem that I had to use a little more of this to lather up my hair than I would with other shampoos. BomaSense focuses on using more natural ingredients in their products – you can read their company philosophy here – so I am aware that their products will have a different consistency than what I’m used to.
- Mango Conditioner: This one just wasn’t for me. I used almost the entire bottle on my hair, and my hair didn’t feel at all moisturized – it felt like my hands would drag and catch on my hair even after it was dry, rather than being able to run my hands through it smoothly. I bleach, dye, blow-dry, flat iron, and use all manner of product in my hair also, so I think my hair is perhaps just too chemically processed for this conditioner. 😉
The Mango Collection retails for $50, or you can buy individual bottles for $15 each.
