This is my first blog post coming to you from my Lenovo Horizon 2s! Using an Intel All-in-One device for my job has been a neat experience. This table PC has the same functionality you’d expect from a laptop, with the added intrigue of a touchscreen. When you just want to kick back and watch a movie, the large flatscreen can operate on its own, but when it’s time to work, the wireless keyboard and mouse give you added control. The mouse does a good job of adapting to different surfaces, even when they’re not totally flat, and both it and the keyboard can be adjusted to wherever you choose to sit since they’re not attached to the device itself, giving you more freedom.

Sitting down to write this post, I was able to plug in both a flash drive with portable apps and my memory card reader into the 2 USB ports, and within minutes I was editing the photos you see here. Something that really intrigues me with the touchscreen it its potential for image editing; when cropping these photos, I was able to drag and tap the area I wanted with my fingers rather than selecting with the mouse. The potential for more intuitive ease and precision in photo editing is very cool and I’ve barely scratched the surface of what the All-in-One can do.

An interesting application you’ll find on the device is Aura, which allows you to swipe and drag multiple photos onto the screen at the same time to view side by side, with options to edit them directly from Aura. I’ve only had a chance to play around with this briefly so it will be interesting to explore Aura further.

The Lenovo Horizon 2s is a fantastic tool for someone like myself. The abiity to swipe and type gives you the best of both worlds, while the large screen allows you to clearly view images and satisfy the needs of someone like myself, who is used to working with dual monitors. From its usefulness to me getting work done, its “Fun factor” for Jai, and its versatility as an entertainment center for the whole family, this Intel All-in-One has been a fantastic addition to our home.

Do you have a blog, or work with computers a lot? Do you think something like this would help you?
I LOVE how large it is. I enjoy working in bed on my tablet, but hate how small the screen is. With this I could still get my work done efficiently, but when I want to kick back and watch a movie in bed there is no bulky keyboard in the way like a laptop. Love it.
This Lenova is very nice! I have a Dell Intel-All-In-One and I love it. But this Aura? I like that idea. Thanks for sharing such a great review!
What a cool idea. Can you use it like tablet too or is just too big?
I love how big the screen is! I use my laptop and a keyboard so I think this would be much more space effecient on my desk!
I could definitely use one of these! My laptop is so old and barely functioning. I love how yours is so versatile!
I have heard nothing but great things about Lenova. I like how compact yet large the screen is 🙂
Ugh, I’ve had my eye on this computer for weeks. You may have tipped me over the edge… I need one!

That Intel All-in-One looks amazing. I love my tablet, and I love my laptop, but I can’t just carry them both around with me. This would solve everything!
I was just talking to Nicole about upgrading her computer (which is 6+ years old) and mention an all-in-one. Expect an email from her!
WOW, very impressive. I love how large it is as well, maybe it’s time for an upgrade. Love it!
