(clockwise): homemade French toast sticks, maple syrup, blueberries, Colby-Jack cheese chunks, banana (halved)
I made French toast for breakfast one morning and had one slice life. Instead a brawl over who get the leftover piece at a later date, I sliced it into sticks and added it to my older son’s school bento. And French toast is just tastier with maple syrup!
My cheese chunks are Tillamook, refer to Bento #2.
For the banana I cut the end off and sliced it in the middle. I also cut a line down the peel so it’s easy to peel at school. It’s best to have foods your child can access without help instead of having to rely on a teacher/lunch aid to help them.
