They sent me a bunch of Cinco De Mayo recipes and I love Mexican food all year round and wanted to share this bean and beef burrito with you. Make burritos, not bore-itos with the spicy, inviting flavor of CHI-CHI’S® Salsa.
Beef and Bean Burrito Bowls
1 CHI-CHI’S® Burrito Sauce w Ground Beef, Rice & Beans
1/2 cup canned red kidney beans, drained and rinsed
1/2 cup canned black beans, drained and rinsed
4 cups hot, cooked white rice
1 cup finely shredded Mexican cheese blend with taco seasoning
Servings: 2 4 8 12 This recipe is recommended for 4 servings
Heat burrito sauce according to package directions.
Stir kidney beans and black beans into burrito sauce. Cook 2 minutes or until heated thoroughly.
Divide hot rice evenly among 4 bowls; top with meat mixture. Sprinkle with cheese. Top with CHI-CHI’S® salsa, sour cream and guacamole, if desired.
