Since Tchaikovsky created The Nutcracker almost 125 years ago, it’s become a worldwide sensation. What’s your favorite version of The Nutcracker? Ovation TV , the only national television network dedicated to the arts and personal creativity, hosts “The Battle of the Nutcrackers”. This year’s “Battle of the Nutcrackers” includes a full week of Nutcracker ballets from St. Petersburg, Berlin, London, and Moscow. Of course they are missing my favorite version, the one I was in in third grade but I’ll forgive them for not posting that one and check out the ones they are showing.
BATTLE OF THE NUTCRACKERS is Ovation’s holiday present to the families of America, a playful twist on the holiday tradition.
As in the past, you can vote on your favorite version at http://www.ovationtv.com/events/battleofthenutcrackers/.
