Auntie Anne Features New Honey Whole Grain Pretzel

By Emily

Auntie Anne’s is celebrating its 25th Birthday and sharing the fun with everyone! Now through March 31, fans can participate in the “Twist and Win” online sweepstakes at www.pretzelperfect.com for a chance to win $25,000, an Apple iPad mini, Coca-Cola beverages for a year, or a $25 Visa gift card. And the celebrating doesn’t end there: as part of the birthday festivities, Auntie Anne’s is introducing the new hand-rolled Honey Whole Grain soft pretzel to its variety of gourmet freshly-baked favorites. At under 300 calories, the whole grain, better-for-you pretzel feels responsible, but tastes reckless. You can score a free sample of Auntie Anne’s Honey Whole Grain soft pretzel at your local Auntie Anne’s on Saturday, March 9 and also receive other instant in-store offers. Party

Auntie Anne’s brought the celebration into my home with a special birthday pack that included everything I needed to throw a birthday party in their honor! The best part of all was the chance to try out the new Honey Whole Grain pretzels. There isn’t anyone out there that does a pretzel better than Auntie Anne’s and this new pretzel did not disappoint. These warm Honey Whole Grain pretzels are characteristic of Auntie Anne’s, lightly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The whole grains give this pretzel a heartier taste and can be enjoyed with or without butter.Pretzel2

I prepared our Auntie Anne’s birthday celebration as an after school surprise party for my older daughter and her friend. I knew they’d be famished and ready to raid the cupboards, so the Honey Whole Grain pretzels turned out to be a perfect after school snack. They were beyond excited when entered the party scene: pretzels, balloons and goodie bags filled with Auntie Anne’s stickers, buttons and silly straws. A highlight of the party was introducing the girls to the game of Twister, also included in our party pack, and sharing in the fun of a game I enjoyed as a kid too. After all that twisting, it was no surprise that they needed to refuel with another pretzel! I couldn’t say no to permitting the girls enjoy another Honey Whole Grain pretzel; each one boasts one daily serving of whole grains, giving it more fiber and iron than many other freshly-baked snack options.AuntieAnneLogo

I highly recommend checking out the Sampler Saturday on March 9, 2013 at your local Auntie Anne’s and trying out the Honey Whole Grain pretzel for yourself. It’s hard to walk on by any Auntie Anne’s location, that aroma never fails to test my will power. And a chance to enjoy a free, healthier option is definitely an event I’m looking forward to!
