We have a lot of friends that eat natural and organic foods and if it wasn’t for them I’m not sure I would even know what Pirate’s Booty is. Pirate’s Booty can be found at Costco and I’ve purchased it a few times. We like it, I’ve even found myself snacking on it in the middle of the night. Just in case you do not know what it is I’ll tell you. 
Pirate’s Booty is a deliciously baked, all-natural snack made from puffed rice and corn. Except I do not like the Veggie Booty. My kids do, and I’m not going to discourage that, but I think that flavor is not good. Pirate’s Booty is a perfect healthy alternative to candy come trick-or-treat time and that is important to me. I think I’m having a bit of anxiety over the oncoming holiday and if you are too then this giveaway I’m going to have is just for you. My favorite pirate is Calico Jack Rackham. He was called “Calico Jack” because of the cheap and brightly colored cotton clothes he wore. He was just a mediocre pirate…..so I guess I like him because he was somewhat of an underdog in the pirate world. Here is the title of a book about Jack: The Only Life That Mattered: The Short and Merry Lives of Anne Bonny, Mary Read, and Calico Jack Rackam.

My favorite pirate is Anne Bonny who thought she would get out of being hanged for being pregnant while in jail. At least I’m pretty sure that was her. I learned about her on a John’s pass ghost tour in St. Pete. My kids like this pirate booty, and I’m pretty sure it’s kosher too!
