My husband and I are not very big on 3D movies. We love 3D at parks like Disneyland and Disney World. But I feel that he and I are apart of a very small group right now because 3D movies have taken over the place. So much so that 3D TVs are entering out homes. I think It would be fun to have a 3D TV in the house but I’m not sure how often I would watch it.
If you are the majority I think the answer must be yes. Well, since the 3D TV might be coming to your house soon, and there is always a 3D movie playing on the big screen right now, why not have your very own 3D glasses or 3D sunglasses that you can take with you anywhere. I mean, wear them outside in the sun and use them in the theater.
Combine your man’s love of sports and his love for you by giving him a subscription to ESPN3D(debuting on Feb. 14) and designer 3D glasses!
You don’t want your stylish guy caught with those awkward, uncomfortable flat frames – instead, spring for some comfortable, designer 3D glasses like the ones Marchon3D makes for M3D, Nautica and Calvin Klein.
Marchon3D created 3D glasses to be mass marketed to the public. They created glasses and sunglasses. The M3D lenses (the 3D sunglasses) protect your eyes from damaging sun rays so they do double as sunglasses – they offer 100% UVA and UVB protection. You will not see images in 3D that are not designed for 3D purposes not affecting your vision. In other words if you wear them outside in the sunlight they function just like regular sunglasses would.
The EX3D glasses enhances your 3D viewing experience in fashion. No more wearing those bulky theater glasses that leave sores on your nose, you can pick something more comfortable and fashionable. The launch included 25 styles to choose from giving the whole family an array of glasses to choose from.
“Ghosting and light reflections are less of an issue in a dark theater, but when viewing 3D content at home there are a variety of lighting conditions that can negatively impact your experience,” said David Johnson, Marchon3D President. “EX3D addresses these issues and functions in all light conditions. It allows the wearer to go from the theater, to passive technology video game consoles, to passive 3D televisions and laptops without ever changing their glasses.”
The unique curvature of M3D lenses offers greater image immersion without peripheral distractions. They also provide high-definition 3D optics, increased picture clarity and ultra-high 3D contrast while minimizing light contamination, distortion and haze.
The M3D collection ranges from $99 – $125 at retail and the EX3D collection retails for $30.00 to $35.00 and will be sold in theaters, electronic retail stores and select e-commerce sites.
