In preparation for our little bundle of joy arriving this fall, we moved our two-year-old into a room with our four-year-old. Of course, she now sees bedtime as an extended playtime opportunity, so getting her to stay in bed has been a challenge. I had never thought of using a baby monitor beyond the baby year, but when I saw Motorola’s Remote Wireless Video Baby Monitor at Babies R Us, I realized it might be just what we needed.

Now, I can not only watch my little angel get out of bed, but I can also pan, tilt, and zoom the camera to get a better look at exactly what mischief she’s getting into! Plus, with the touch of a button, I can actually talk to her through the camera to tell her to go back to bed. I especially appreciated how easy it was to set up. I didn’t even have to set a clock! The system automatically "knows" whether it’s day or night, making the infrared night vision an automatic feature, too. With so much on our minds, no mom needs one more thing to have to remember, so I’m glad Motorola did the thinking for us!
I was also amazed by what a good range this monitor has! We live on a large property, and the range held not only inside the house but also quite a distance outside, something I didn’t expect. I love the versatility of this monitor so much that it will have a place in our house beyond just the baby years!
