Aloha Friday – nap time?

July 16, 2009 by MomStart 17 Comments

alohafriday5 Kailani says “In Hawaii, Aloha Friday is the day that they take it easy and look forward to the weekend. So I thought that on Fridays I would take it easy on posting, too. Therefore, I’ll ask a simple question for you to answer. Nothing that requires a lengthy response”. You should go to Kailani’s site and link up with Mr. Linky, but be sure and answer her question.

My Question:

Do you take naps?

I love taking naps, It’s just very rare.

That is so funny because after having spent almost an entire week cleaning my home after being gone for nearly 6 wks I spent the day pretty much napping! I loved it.

Not often, but I do love naps. I think it is the best sleep ever.

Everyday I take a nap. I work from 1:30am until 10am so when I get home from work I am exhausted!

Only when I’m sick. Or eat too much. 🙂

Sometimes I’ll fall asleep on a raft in my pool after swimming. It’s wonderful until the dog starts to bark 🙂

No, there is just too much to do around the house when the little guy naps. Typically you know I am getting sick or not feeling well if I get a nap in.

not to often. I used to love taking naps but now when I do get to take one I wake up feeling awful.

Even if I had the time to, I probably wouldn’t. It is rare that I nap. But I do miss snuggling up with my daughter when she was teeny tiny…now she just crawls all over the place and squirms 😉

It is rare for me to ever take a nap. I generally wake up from naps feeling very groggy and grumpy, and then it is hard for me to go to sleep at night. Even though I would love to have a nap on many days, it just is not worth it to me in the long run.

Actually I just took one yesterday. But I’m not a good short napper; I am cranky afterwards. So I try not to nap and just get through the day so I can sleep better at night.

I had been taking naps every day but now I try to do it only when I just can’t keep my eyes open to save my life!
