Aloha Friday – Easter

April 2, 2009 by MomStart 19 Comments

Kailani says “In Hawaii, Aloha Friday is the day that they take it easy and look forward to the weekend. So I thought that on Fridays I would take it easy on posting, too. Therefore, I’ll ask a simple question for you to answer. Nothing that requires a lengthy response”.

My Question:

What are your Easter Plans?

We do not have any. We might go to church, which we really should, but we haven’t really found a good church. It is so hard to find a church around here. Friends of ours are having the same problem and are thinking of going back to their old church even though it is a long drive. Oh, we are going to an Easter Party at a friends house on the Friday before Easter.

I don’t have any yet. I just got a new part-time job, and I’m waiting to see when I’m going to be scheduled before making plans.

I’m not really sure what my Easter plans are yet. I’ll probably do dinner or something for the kids but other than that, I don’t know!

I am hoping to go to my hometown to visit my family. Then we can all go hunt Easter Eggs, and probably go to church.

Hey – that’s my question too! 😉 I thought I would beat people to the punch by doing it a week early. Guess great minds think alike! We will color eggs and have an egg hunt at our house, then go down to my mother-in-laws for another egg hunt and a nice meal. My son turns 1 the day before so we have to celebrate that too!

Easter is my son’s 5th b-day! We are celebrating that early though.

Easter will be spent like everyother holiday for us. We will drive to my ILs and eat with the extended family.

Honestly, I don’t even know when Easter is this year. How sad. LOL We’ll go to church and then probably out somewhere with the inlaws. Not sure.
